The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code 2020 consolidated thirteen labour laws and placed clear health and welfare duties on employers. The Factories Act 1948 already required occupational health surveillance in defined industries.
PGVDHSW covers occupational health hazards, industrial hygiene and exposure monitoring, ergonomics, health surveillance and record keeping, welfare provisions, mental health at work, and the statutory framework governing all of it.
One year, 40 credits, with a practical component and an industry project. Written for HR professionals and safety officers who carry these duties without formal training in them.
Every module closes on a live compliance case drawn from real Indian workplaces: an exposure question, a welfare shortfall, a health surveillance gap. Students run the assessment, document the non-conformance and write the corrective action plan.
