One year. NSQF Level 7. 40 credits. Delivered by IFEM as Industrial Academic Training Partners (IATP) with IUN (International University Nagaland), for working professionals stepping into designated fire safety officer roles.
Occupancies across India are required to have designated fire safety personnel under NBC 2016 and state fire service legislation. Many of the people doing that work in practice hold no formal fire safety qualification.
AVDFSM closes that gap. It covers fire prevention and protection systems, detection and suppression technology, NBC 2016 Part 4 compliance, emergency planning and evacuation, fire drills and training, inspection and maintenance regimes, and incident reporting.
One year, 40 credits, with practical work and an industry project. RPL admission means your field experience becomes your entry credential.
Written for people with field literacy. Every module pushes structured practice: system adequacy assessment, NBC 2016 compliance framing, drill design, inspection regimes and incident documentation.
Structured delivery means you complete it around your shift pattern, not against it.
