One year. NSQF Level 7. 40 credits. Delivered by IFEM as Industrial Academic Training Partners (IATP) with IUN (International University Nagaland), for professionals whose remit covers both the fire register and the environmental return.
Walk into a mid-sized manufacturing plant and the person responsible for the fire system is usually also responsible for the consent to operate, the effluent records and the hazardous waste manifest. Two disciplines, one desk, one salary.
AVDFSIEM is built for exactly that reality. It covers fire prevention and protection systems, the Factories Act and BOCW Act, alongside the Environment Protection Act 1986, air and water pollution control, hazardous waste management, EIA fundamentals and ISO 14001.
One year, 40 credits, with practical work and an industry project. RPL admission recognises the field years you already have.
The programme assumes you have been doing this work already. Every module pushes structured practice across both registers: fire system adequacy on one side, consent conditions and waste manifests on the other, with the legal framing for each.
Structured delivery means you complete it around your shift pattern, not against it.
