IFEM offers 23 NSQF-accredited programmes: 4 Bachelor of Vocation degrees, 4 Master of Vocation degrees, 8 Post Graduate Vocational Diplomas, 5 Advance Vocational Diplomas and 2 Vocational Diplomas. They span NSQF Levels 5 to 9.
NSQF is the National Skills Qualifications Framework, the Indian system that grades a qualification by the depth of competence it certifies. IFEM programmes sit between Level 5 and Level 9. Vocational Diplomas are Level 6, Advance Vocational Diplomas are Level 7, Post Graduate Vocational Diplomas are Level 8, and the Master of Vocation degrees reach Level 9.
Bachelor of Vocation degrees run 3 years. Master of Vocation degrees run 2 years. Post Graduate Vocational Diplomas, Advance Vocational Diplomas and Vocational Diplomas each run 1 year.
Eligibility ranges from a Class 12 pass for the Vocational Diplomas and the Bachelor of Vocation degrees, to a Bachelor's degree for the Post Graduate Vocational Diplomas and the Master of Vocation programmes. Recognition of Prior Learning is available on several programmes for working professionals.
Yes. Delivery is bilingual in Hindi and English and runs pan-India, so you study on your own schedule. Programmes that include live drill components, and the viva voce and capstone stages, may require campus attendance.
Yes, through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway under PMKVY. RPL admission is available on AVDIS, AVDISSM, PGVDISM, PGVDESG, PGVDFLSA, MVFSHM and MVISM for Indian nationals aged 18 to 45 with relevant field experience.
